With only 6 days to conceptualize, build and engineer a customized button solution that collected a specific data set from program participants for a series of Arthritis Foundation events. The first of 15 city conferences was Washington D.C., where 4 rooms were built and real situations were brought to life.

It is sometimes difficult to understand what Rheumatoid Arthritis patients face each day, but our clients wanted to immerse event participants into a day in the life with RA, as they walked through 4 rooms wearing RA and performed a series of normal household tasks, such as pouring hot tea, buttoning a shirt, or setting a dinner table. When a task became an obstacle and was too difficult to complete, our button (doted with the words “I need help”) were pressed, the totals were tallied and then displayed to help foster awareness and give perspective of this wide spread disease.
